Laurie Leigh first began her career as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics. She worked at MAC for 6 years and has been doing makeup professionally since 2001. In 6th grade she did her first makeover for her dance teacher at their big dance recital. In high school, she would do her friends makeup for prom and special occasions. Inspired by her beauty icon, Raquel Welch, Laurie Leigh fell in love with the smokey eye, bronzed contour, and nude / peachy lip.
One of her favorite collections MAC released was the Raquel Welch launch. “I was so excited to be working for MAC and getting to be apart of this launch. Everything came full circle for me at that point”, said Laurie Leigh.
When Laurie Leigh was pregnant with her first born child, she and her husband made the decision to become a stay at home mom. Since then she has been doing makeup from in studio or on location. From brides, maternity shoots, print, prom, engagement photos, special occasions, headshots, and teaching makeup applications, she’s been busy. She loves sharing her talent that God gave her to make women feel beautiful.
